There is a war in Sudan that has lasted for almost 20 years and cost three million lives. As international interests hang in the balance, people are confronted with famine, slavery, and death. The film addresses the dramatic situation of the Southern Sudanese forced to flee the oil-rich areas in the South. Refugees who have sought shelter around the capital of Khartoum in Northern Sudan, face daily discrimination. Even more difficult however, are the living conditions of refugees in the camps on the Kenyan border.
