Zack & Wiki - The Great Chase! (1 of 2)

The Sea Rabbits and the Rose Rock Pirates have banded up together to track down Barbaros and see what he's truly up to! Using Captain Rose's ship, they brave the stormy seas, and with a lot of luck, they may just be able to take down the greatest pirate of all...

It looks like the waters around Treasure Island aren't too safe though, as it's not long before a giant squid comes and kidnaps Captain Rose and her crew! Johnny Style, the coward he always is, has fled somewhere, leaving Zack to fend off the giant squid for himself.

Captain Rose and her short skirt? A giant squid with big tentacles? I think we all know where this is leading...

Well, perhaps not. The giant squid goes by the name Hexaleg (though it really has the proper 10 tentacles a squid should have), and it relentlessly attacks the ship because it's just so ticked off. Zack retaliates by using the weaponry on Captain Rose's ship, which is surprisingly well-armed, to deal some damage to the squid.

...Or not. It only annoys Hexaleg, who decides to go up to the ship itself and attack Zack directly this time. Zack has to liberate three of Rose's goons from Hexaleg's grasp--that way, they can run around the ship and offer some very much needed assistance for Zack. They're usually incompetent good-for-nothings, but when the chips are down, they remain calm and know exactly what to do.

I love how this game can be both epic and stupid at the same time. You gotta admit, the scene where the pirates unfurl the sail looks pretty cool.

So he uses a Platinum Ticket to revive himself. He's got the might, resources, and powers of the Sea Rabbits backing him up.

The ballista is pointed that Zack would have to be floating above the ocean to even get hit by it, of course.

Yep, I have, but still, do you honestly think he can suvive being impaled on a giant harpoon? He can be impaled on spikes in treasure island, so...

Zack is built tough. He can carry this ship's mast all by himself. (Have you seen the second part of this video yet?)

I meant if it goes off while Zack's in front of it. If someone (Johnny Style) accidentally flips the switch while he's there...Just where Zack's sitting is an accident waiting to happen.
