After many years of going to Pennsylvania for family matters and never getting to Horseshoe Curve, I finally made it. Stayed at the curve itself for 2 hours and it was kind of quiet. Only 6 trains in that time period. But it was still worth it. Here NS 18G heads downgrade with a trio of Dash 9s up front followed by 2 SD40E helpers on the rear. Stay tuned for Parts 2-6.

  • cool catch! I have yet to see a SD40E in person. you can defintely tell that the frame is not originally from a SD40.

  • @NS2589 Thanks! Theyre a good rebuild. Theyre for the most part theyre rebuilt from old CONRAIL SD50s.

  • Sweet video, NS Still has to do more trimming
