@Mogley52 Einstein is not the emperor of science.. Just like Freud is not the emperor of psychology. Just because Einstein said it doesn't mean it's true. Science doesn't point to an intelligent creator just because we don't know how we got here. You can't just draw a conclusion out of nothing just because you don't have the answer right now. "I don't know" is a perfectly good answer. We DON'T know! Just admit it! Why do people have to act like they know everything all the time?

It gives power over the gullible, the dumb, the ignorant, the lazy and the careless and let me tell you, that's about 90% of all humans. @tigersforchrist wait. Are you actually arguing that a god exists because we build some cool stuff? You aren't providing a shed of evidence of creation with that. In fact the items you give are much more purpose orientated and wouldn't have the inefficiency problems our universe has like limited human senses, junk DNA, genetic disabilities, and most of the universe being deadly to the humans it was supposedly made for. The universe is far more like a thing made without will or direction.

@GrammarNaziFoxGirl So you worship the grammar and spelling accepted by the majority of anglophones (aspects of our language which are usually only superficially meddled with) but you've decided that lexicon is completely dependent upon individual interpretation. You may choose to see religion however you like but the word (at this moment) is a signifier with a specific meaning, "the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power..." I believe the word you're looking for is orthodoxy.
