Fiona Mayfield had enough getting pushed around by Mildred and Angelia, so she decided to proceed with her original plan to return back home to her world. She crosses paths with a certain Youkai, who apparently knows about what Fiona wants to know...
In this edition, one fight is purely mindgames, while another is somewhat epic. The storyline still seems cheesy as usual, but I already emphasized this fact. Anyways...
The first opponent I'm up against is Yukari Yakumo (Yukari_RP), by Ricepigeon. Her gameplay is really good, and also surprisingly balanced. Her gameplay is completely different from the source game (with good reason: Accurate Touhou fighter conversions have been labelled broken by many Mugenites), but still fun to play. Yukari has access to nine supers (aka. Spellcards), but she can only access three of them in an entire fight depending on the ones that the player selects at the start of the fight, which range from boundary manipulation, summoning Chen and/or Ran Yakumo as part of some of the spellcards, and even open up a gap where a subway car (dubbed the Yukari Express) comes out and runs over Yukari's opponents. The only thing is that her AI (as of Sept. 3, 2009's update) is that it's easily exploitable, depending on the character you use, to the point that it is possible to beat her without getting hurt at all and also do it in around 20-25 seconds (in actual fight time). Good AI, but exploitable and leads to mindgames (and this exploit is also possible using Yukari_RP yourself). Might want to do something about that, Ricepigeon... (EDIT: Ricepigeon updated Yukari_RP as of September 9, 2009. The AI is less aggressive and more cautious now.)
The second opponent is Red Dragon by Doggiedoo. I already fought Synn a couple videos back (before this one and "A Sonic Gone Bad"), and now I finally take on the Red Dragon. The Red Dragon has most of the same attacks as Synn, but has several other attacks of his own: Slamming the ground to knock ground-bound characters off their feet, shoot fireballs from it's hands (which can either be the fireballs that Synn fired from her third eye, or fireballs which explode in some sort of shockwave dealy), and for the second round, Red Dragon brings up fire spirits which shoot fireballs at you, and summon skeleton minions to try and distract you from the Red Dragon. I upped the challenge a bit, by making the following configurations to the Red Dragon:
- Doubled the Red Dragon's health
- 5-6 skeletons are spawned at one time.
- Fire spirit lingers much longer than before.
- Red Dragon does the instant kill attacks at random.
- Amount of damage to stun the Red Dragon has been doubled.
- Stun time has been halved or so.
I play as Fiona Mayfield, the giant sword-wielding Maid of Arcana Heart. Drowin made this Mugen version, and plays mostly like she does from the source game, but isn't fully accurate. She does have problems, one notable one being that her default Arcana's standard attack does too much damage when upgraded twice, and also the fact that it's easy to accidently trigger Arcana Force (press medium and heavy attack button at once to activate it), and also the homing is a bit awkward compared to the other AH Mugen characters. I plan to switch to another Fiona if one exists in the future, even though this one is good for now. Oh yeah, she has been given AH2 graphics for the portrait and super graphic, and she has the AH2 soundpack by Choiyer. I made a single minor personal modification to the soundpack. I'm not going to distribute the modified soundpack.

Great video has the ol' caco squad feel to it with the various sources for the props! 5/5 i'm unfamiliar with characters but love the anime girls.
