This is S30V blade steel right? I heard that you cannot sharpen it as sharp as VG-10 is that right?

@bfgguns I don't know to be honest, I have not yet owned a knife with a VG10 blade. As for the type of steel, IMO the type doesn't really matter for this type of cutting it's all down to blade geometry.

Sharpened freehand with a Norton IB6 combi oil stone and stropped on leather with some Autosol.
