Beatles fans know Chris Carter as the host of Breakfast With The Beatles, the longest running Beatles radio show, which can now be heard nationwide via Little Steven's Underground Garage on Sirius Satellite Radio. Many rock fans know him as the bassist in Dramarama, whose 1985 smash hit "Anything, Anything (I'll Give You)" is still an alternative radio staple. So who better to give us a brief history of the Fab Four and chat about the impending impact of The Beatles: Rock Band (MTV Games / Electronic Arts)?

Breakfast With The Beatles Host Chris CarterIn fact, Chris not only gives us an overview of The Beatles and how they impacted music and pop culture, but takes us on a song-by-song journey of 11 of the bands most important tunes, as heard in the upcoming game. Chris fills us in on everything youd ever wanna know about the worlds greatest group, from the fab fours earliest gigs as a pub band at The Cavern, to their monumental performances on The Ed Sullivan Show and teen-scream arena shows at Shea Stadium and the Budokan, to their groundbreaking days at Abbey Road Studios and their legendary final rooftop concert, Chris fills us in on everything youd ever wanna know about the worlds greatest group.

  • It's true. The reason for that is if you play rock music, you're almost automatically influenced by The Beatles even if you don't want to be. The history of rock and roll:

    Chuck Berry invented it

    Elvis made it popular

    The Beatles perfected it.

  • HELTER SKELTER!!!!! me favorite song :)

  • @CTFxCFTW77 I saw Billy Preston live in a very small venue (maybe 300 people). Really amazing little show he put on, every one was losing their minds, by the end, basically. He did tons of stuff from the rooftop concert.

  • @sacramentolove Yeah. I know...that's horrible. I was so paranoid that day because I was only 9 not knowing how much the internet, TV, and people lied. I thought something bad was going to happen to me..haha fail.

  • @CTFxCFTW77 you know whats weird about billy preston? he died on 06-06-06... he died on so called "judgement day" from satan...

  • @sacramentolove I know Billy Preston. I knew he did some piano stuff for them but I never knew they considered him to be the 5th Beatle. I always though that they considered Eric Clapton to be even though he only did While My Guitar Gently Weeps. But Billy Preston was a great pianist so I see why they say he was the 5th Beatle.

  • @CTFxCFTW77 no, by 1968 a new member joined. Billy preston was considered to be the 5th Beatle. know your beatles smarts! lol

  • @sacramentolove The Beatles were 4 members. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Geroge Harrison.

  • But the Beatles were influenced by Buddy Holly and the Crickets. The Crickets = The Beatles, both bugs. The Crickets = 4 members. The Beatles = 5 members??? I forgot...

  • i cant stand this bfest with the beatles guy >: /

  • 45 yrs
