We take a look at the transparent AMOLED display technology from Samsung at CES 2011. By sacrificing some AMOLED pixels as blank spots, Samsung has created AMOLED displays that you can see right through.

  • the "blending joke's" getting old...

  • It is very difficult to build see-through displays, even the ambient backlight can be a problem if it has more brightness than the screen. Those cubes were probably made to limit the amount of light coming from the ceiling, not there just to show the transparency with a set background.
