I do both mountain bike trails at Alum Creek very frequently. P2 is definitely harder. There is a lot of stuff I don't even attempt to do there.
I just found out about Dillon which is about 45 minutes from Columbus. I'm going to try and go there next week.

Have you tried both MTB trails (Phase 1 and 2) at Alum Creek? I just discovered P2 it is a lot more challenging. P2 is on Africa rd just north of the cheshire intersection.

Is there any place besides the mountain bike trails near the Alum Creek Reservoir that have good mountain bike trails? I'd love to find some good trails to ride on.

@MIKEALLUNGE That seems a little extreme.

I prefer the Olentangy trail... it is much longer, and definitely not a difficult ride. The nice thing about it, is that the views are much better than the Alum Creek trail as well.. riding from down town, through campus, and up past Worthington and I270, all while maintaining that "environmental" feel at numerous times... I'm pretty sure its twenty some miles round trip... does anyone know when/if the Alum Creek trail will be totally connected?

The Olentangy trail is definitely better. I rode it after I made this video. Although, you can now go all the way from Easton to Genoa Township on the Alum Trail. I also like heading up to Hoover Dam Reservoir.
