  • Kahului RR on Maui. One of several such engines. She was kept around after dieselization until 1966.

The Georgetown Loop and the Cumbras & Toltec do have the Oahu Railway diesels #15 and #19. For scenes of an Oahu Railway locomotive, try searching for the "Casey Jones Nightmail" as they used OR&L #85 along with stock footage for a tv show.

  • Can anyone tell me what railroad the locomotive is from? She looks like an Oahu Railway (Hawaii) Steamer.

  • I think this "old lady" loves a "run again" and surely we are all blessed by her grace. I wonder who put her into action again...must be committed volunteers of the Colorado Historical Society. Thanks for the pleasure of the video.

  • @CandS74 like

  • Most likely not. It is now on static display in Breckenridge, CO. In order to run again, it needs lots of things replaced and repaired.

  • @CandS74 will it run again

  • That is Colorado & Southern #9, which is no longer on the property (it is owned by the Colorado Historical Society).

  • what is the engine on the side?
