It is typical that some people seek so much acknowledgment for their religion. It looks to me them actually insecure. They scream things like; my religion will rule the world, my religion is growing stronger. I don’t need all that, my faith is strong enough.

@mujtahid2006 I just find it hard to believe that if people have the freedom to choose, they will choose to be suppressed. I don´t see Islam grow stronger. It takes different shapes. Did you know that in China for example, Christian religion grows really fast. Different then Islam, there are more people commiting them selfs to Christianity. In Muslim countries people are already Muslim, so it dont grow. But lets see..

And it will fail again - meanwhile Islam grows stronger. The Egyptian protestors were backed up by Muslim Brotherhood - who call for an Islamic State!! The Muslim countries are not under Sharia law, they are under Western SECULAR laws (like Tunisia for example :) ). The Muslims have rejected them, and want Islam. We'll see what happens next.

Democracy was implemented in the middle east in the Early 20th Century, these dictators were the result of that process. Muslims want free elections in order to vote in Pro-Sharia parties, like the Palestinians did with Hamas, and the Algerians did with FIS, and Turks did with Rafah etc etc...

@mujtahid2006 They want democracy. I think the Muslim world is at a turning point. And of course groups from Taliban will use names that sound nice to the people..Christianity also went trough a revolution like this. They also had barbarian laws a long time ago..

Freedom doesn't mean Western Liberalism - to Muslims the word 'Freedom ' means freedom from being controlled by foreign powers. The biggest Islamic parties and movements also use the word 'Freedom', so do the Taliban, and one group is even called 'Hizb ul Tahrir' Party of Freedom/Liberation.
