  • It looks like a tsunami.

  • Aitutaki got the brunt of Meena.

  • stuff that, after that i'd muv inland and up, build there, what power to bring boulders inland, me stay here i think!

  • i was dea wen dey all hit we stayed at our house ryt next 2 da runway on da beach side till we decided 2 move 2 matavera till it stopped now aitutaki fukin hell wats happein man!!!

  • I was there during all 4 cyclones and I must say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. But the clean up after the cyclones passed, is something I don't intend doing ever again.

  • I went there a couple of weeks after the 05 hurricanes. The destruction was bad enough the mountains had big bald patches where there used to be vegetation.

  • Amazing footage, Goeff! I love how you chase cyclones in areas you rarely ever see film from. Thats some of the best storm surge footage I have ever seen.

I wonder what its like up high in those razor back mountains whenever a strong hurricane hits. The winds must be incredible.

  • will someone remind me again on why my husband and I are trying so hard to move to Raro? oh yeah, did I mention- it's paradise?
