Do not worry you wont gain weight!!
In order to shorten the time for low iodine diet you may opt for Thyrogen injection prior to RAI and also ask how to protect your salivary gland from being damaged during RAI treatment
If the cancerous tumor was encapsulated you really dont need very aggressive treatment.

Glad to hear your doing well :o) I'm not a morning person either .. I need my sleep. If you have to stay at the hospital again I'd bring Ear plugs and an eye mask. Let's hope that doesn't happen :o) There is a girl Vloging in the WL comm. Collen (justacameragirl) and she just found out about a thyroid problem. Maybe you can talk to her about it Relate with her some :o) My prayers will be with you. I know where's the Snow I'm in Michigan and we have no snow either :o)
