Building a Wimshurst Influence Machine (Part 1)

Step by step construction of a Wimshurst machine - Part One: Preparing the metal sectors. A Wimshurst machine generate static eletricity (electrostatic generator) by rotating in opposite directions, two discs in close proximity, each covered in an array of metal strips. The Whimsurst machine was first built in Victorian times when serious experimentation in electrical force was beginning in earnest. This particular machine is Teresa's original design based on combining the best features discovered in her research.
