http://www.vehix411.com This video will show you How to bypass BMW Passenger Seat Occupancy Mat sensor for passenger Airbag . If you need to test the occupancy sensor or permanently bypass it should work on most BMW you can buy the passenger seat occupancy sensor at the dealer for abt $300 to $400 and have to take the seat apart . After building the occupancy seat sensor bypass connect to the seat and reset the bmw airbag light and your good to go.In E36, E46, E38, E39, E53 X5 & Z3 90% of the time your airbag light comes on because the Passenger Seat Occupancy Sensor is faulty. Without fixing this problem, your airbags will not deploy. Once the Passenger Seat Occupancy Sensor is broken and the light is on, the Passenger airbag is disabled and useless. What is Passenger Seat Occupancy Sensor? How does it work? Airbag Passenger Seat Occupancy Sensor is a mat that is built into the seat that senses whether someone is sitting in the passenger seat and whether to deploy the airbag or not. It is a very important part of the airbag system. If it is broken, the Passenger airbag is disabled. The Passenger Seat Occupancy Mat is easily broken as it is fragile and the only way to fix it, is to replace it or build a bypass and permanently activate passenger airbag.

  • you need seat emulator

  • no 100 ohms only

  • try IN4007 mini diode it should take care of that

  • Sometimes it reset automatically sometimes you need the tool to do that

i just did a car last week and it turn off automatically

  • this will bypass the pass seat sensor and will tell your airbag module thet someone is sitting their all the time and should activate your passenger airbag in an accident

  • it should make the pass airbag active

  • has anyone figured out how to connect this bypass to a three wire. white(data), brown(ground), red(12v)? What does the blue and white wire stand for?

  • @vehix411 where can I find that and what is it

  • I have the brown, red and yellow module...how do I find it and bypass it?

  • Hi mate will that work on bmw 520d m sport it looks like its a common fault on them

  • Hi Mate, will this method work on an E65 and would I use same size diode / resistors?

  • It's serve also to 318TI E36 M44 1997?

  • Vehix411, my seat does not have a blue/white wire nor a black box. Mine has 3 wires coming from the seat sensor and plugging into another wire which goes to a yellow unit under the seat towards the front. Please help as I do need a bypass for this one. Thank you.
