AFI is was hardcore punk earlier like 1994-2000. But then they became punk revival and a little more mainstream afterwards, all their music is good though.

actually your a stupid shit. afi's first album was punk. the lead singer had a shaved head, white T, red suspenders, blue jeans and combat boots. he was a punk all the way, and they were good until the original members left
