Runescape 99 thieving guide. Finally found the time to get this done.

Showing various methods that can be used to get to 99 thieving. Up to you to decide which you want to do.

I mentioned the ardougne cape a bit in the vid, but didnt go into much detail. People say it doesnt work for pyramid plunder so no point there. Only use would be blackjacking (if you want to handle that) or knights/paladins for some cash.


NB: At 3:57 I said you need 17 free spaces, this is because you only get gold and stone artifacts in the 71+ rooms. It costs 6 gold to recharge or 12 stone to recharge the sceptre. Having 17 free empty spaces allows you to have either as if you have 12 stone you have 5 gold, or 6 gold you have 11 stone.

NB: Gloves of silence require 54 hunter to wear. They will eventually wear out but can be repaired by using 1 dark kebbit fur on the gloves (64 crafting, knife, needle, thread required). You can check the status when operating the gloves. You can get these gloves are new, in good condition, starting to look quite shabby, starting to need repair, in need of repair, starting to fall apart.If you continue pickpocketing after the last message, your gloves will vanish and you will see "Your gloves of silence have worn out." You can see this at 5:14.

Its much more efficient to just use super anti poison. With the book you would have to constantly be curing and "saving millions" is a bit of an exaggeration..

Nope, checking for snakes does NOT give more xp. When you loot from an urn without checking for snakes, you'll get 100% of the total xp possible.

When you check for snakes, you get 1/3 of the xp, then when you loot it, you'll get the remaining 2/3 xp. So you'll get the same amount of xp no matter which way you do it. It's just that searching for snakes will take longer.

to get it faster, get a thieving guild bot for 160k/hour. i am getting 95 thief with that in 1 hour. :)

@RsMaxedOut Rofl 300k/hour, no, more like 30k an hour. PP is way faster then ardy knights, which you even spelled wrongly. Ardy knights DO give more cash/h since you won't get any cash @ PP since you are not opening the chest.
