szaxe live EWI Mr Sax T Ribbon in the sky Stevie Wonder

a rich maraday version of ribbon in the sky, played on a yamaha WX7 ( Ewi - electronic wind instrument ) I customised, which I call a Szaxe. I'm using samplemodeling Mr sax T from the sax brothers. They are Mr sax A and a Mr Sax B.

The custom instrument is a Yamaha WX7 which preceded the WX11 and presently the yamaha WX5. Unlike the Akai Ewi 4000s ( EWI4000s ) - Usb, the WX7 has moving keys.

@magmanolo Hi, I use a laptop to a Pa system to play live. There is no discernable latency 4.1 ms. I prefer yamaha, but its a matter of taste.

@JanneFlinck1981 It'll help you get the fingering sorted and with a lot of practice (and good instruments like Mr Sax from SampleModeling some musical expression).... then you just need to learn how to make the reed vibrate and create the right sound........ hmm I guess that might be the hard bit :-)

Probably a good quick win and will help with half the battle, but don't get good on the EWI and then turn up to a jam session and forget your EWI and borrow a proper instrument.
