First time shooting .50 caliber snub-nosed pistol

This is my first time shooting my buddy's .50cal S&W model 500 revolver. Knocked the cigarette right out of my mouth and almost hit myself in the face with the hammer.

This video was taken in a designated firing range in Northern California.

You fail at judging people (and family values for that matter). Every person that was at that firing range with me is well-educated and a responsible member of society.
I'm a college grad and the others include an import mechanic, a Hot Shots wild-land firefighter, and the shop supervisor of the second largest pre-fabricated kitchen marble and tile manufacturer in California.
I'd also like to point out that I'm a strong believer in the economic, foreign relations, and education policies (not to mention anti-lobbyist sentiments) of Barack Obama. I think that hardly qualifies me to be a "Freaking moron. Inbred white trash moron" as you so aptly and articulately put it.

only use i see for a 500 is as a back up gun for BIG game like brown bears or moose. far to much kick for self def. if you miss with that first shot, a follow up shot would be hard to do. also you may not have time to grip it in both hands and take a good solid stance so the weapon may end up coming right out of your hand. if i cant shoot it one handed in an emergency situation i dont have much use for it. if i need something bigger than a 357mag or even a 40cal then i'll carry my 30-30 win. ;)
