  • can I get a patent for a faster process for patent applications. and would I be able to use it when the patent is pending?

  • how about submitting photographs of the prototype in lieu of mechanical drawings?

  • An inventor or company may manufacture a product that is patent pending even though the patent hasn't been approved yet. That company does not have rights to that patent until it is approved. However, once it is approved, that company may sue an infringer for an earlier violation (look up 'back dated royalties'). That is why some products have "pat. pending" labeled into them; to warn a potential infringer.

  • Question number 2. You said after submitting a patent application it can be pending for years. Now how is it possible for companies such as apple to come up with so many new applications for iPhone within months? Ah mean they do need to patent their application right? To ad to that, this follow up question goes back to question #1; If i were to come up with an idea such as an application that i think would be a hit for lets say iPhone, what do i do? I am no software developer...etc

  • Great video but there are a few things i will like to clarify. 1. If i wanted to patent an idea of a product that i don't have the resource to build how do i go about doing that eg. Assuming we didn't have bluetooth and I though wow, maybe i can make something that i can attached to my ear and talk. I can draw and explain it but there is no way for me to make it or make a dummy, its simply an idea. How to i make this reality even though I will never live to make or design a headset?

  • Can it be patentable for an anti-virus software?

How about an idea or concept of an invention? I guessed this is not patentable.

After the patent has been grant and lasted for the 20 years, is it possible to renew the patent application?
