God of War Collection [HD]: God of War - Challenge of the Gods 8 & 10

As you all know, I'm currently working on my God of War Collection playthrough for my channel. And rest assured I have beaten the game already (GoW1) and am currently in the process of rendering the captured footage for upload -- so the wait shouldn't be too long. But for now, I'll show you guys an interesting video clip of me successfully completing two of the most unfair and brutal stages of the Challenge of the Gods bonus levels.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is sadistic game design at its best. I don't urge any casual gamer to even attempt this mode -- you'll most likely end up with a broken controller...or two. Enjoy the show guys, and don't forget to stay tuned for my complete playthroughs of both games in the GoW Collection. Consider this a preview to what's to come...

P.S. Now that that's out of the way, the platinum trophy is surely within my reach. Phew! [UPDATE: Platinum is acquired at last, and I've also begun my playthrough!]

Hahaha, brilliant to see you panic @ 8.25, but well played in the end. Just completed Challenge of the Gods myself (for the second time in my life... PS2 for the win :P) and was curious to see if others used the same tactics. Well the answer is "pretty much", though my tactic for the lvl 10 was shite :( Kept doing Evade + X --> L1 + Circle... This looks easier, but well I got it in the end.

No, it's not possible to get all the trophies in a single playthrough. But yes, I have already platinum'd both games.

@RaZer98921 yup for sure. iv just got the last four medusas and screwed up and iv worked out that if you just roll and press triangle roll presstriangle roll press triangle until u see a slight gap then finish with a strong combo. but this is just a case of repeat untill finished as using this method u will hardly ever get hit and never get hit with the stare. try not to complete the combo when being locked on to with a medusa just roll away or toward her chipping away damage. and just repeat.

there's a break in the footage at 8:39; haha! what happened, they stoned you and you had to restart at level 7? i can tell your health is different. this challenge is actually pretty easy if you spam that one move. well played though
