MadWorld (Wii) Gameplay

This is some gameplay of the second level of Madworld for the Nintendo Wii. It seems to be a pretty overlooked title for the Wii, at least as far as sales go. I'm not quite sure if a lot of gamers have heard of it, but I got it for dirt cheap at gamestop.

Aside from Mario Kart which my Wii came with, and Mario Galaxy, I also ran out and picked this game, and a few others that were on my list (No More heroes, No More Heroes, NiGHTS, and a copy of Zack and Wiki that didn't work, so I took it back and picked up Farcry, and Spyborgs instead).

Overall, a lot of people like the options for killing you enemies in this game. I hear it's pretty short though, but seeing as I've owned it for only a couple of days, I really can't gauge the length of the game.

I turned the music off for this vid, and enjoyed it being off so much, that I still haven't turned it back on yet, and don't plan on doing so. The announcers can be kind of annoying as well, but one of them is the guy who does Marcus Fenix's voice in Gears.

Not saying that I agree with those who call Madworld a core title, however that is the way many view this game along with No More Heroes. To me there are no lines. I play the games I like wether it be considerd to be casual or core. I don't care as long as I like it.

@OldsXCool The whole core and casual thing this generation is BS anyway. You have drones who only play games who's gameplay is sterilized (as in dumbbed down for idiots who have never played games) calling themselves hardcore gamers because they play Call of Duty and all the other mainstream crap while trying to look down on the Wii games. They themselves are casual gamers, they just think they are hardcore gamers. Sure they don't play Icarly, but CoD is the Icarly of FPS games.

This game is so overrated. Wii owners cling to it as THE hardcore title of the Wii just because of the glut of blood, violence and foul language. All those things are cool but the game gets very old and repetitive. However you did make a great choice with Spyborgs. That's a beatem' up with some substance.

@OldsXCool Blood and guts doesn't equal hardcore. When the mainstream casual fans (read the majority of the CoD, Halo playing crowd who only play the mainstream stuff meaning they aren't hardcore gamers either) define what makes a game a hardcore gamer game, then the term means nothing. Those who play only the mainstream can call themselves core gamers if the want, but they aren't hardcore. Hardcore movie fan doesn't just watch mainstream movies, a hardcore comic fan doesn't just read mainstream

awesome game but its a wii exclusive . =( is damn underrated and looks awesome . the Black n white style is pretty cool because it gives this comic/manga feeling . =D okay its brutal ... but fun as hell . whats wrong with the gamers today ? =/

@Snyperwolf91 Pet games with a "Z" for an "S" are apparently more appealing. Or perhaps it's that Nintendo fanboys always flaunt games like madworld, but in the end they only ever end up buying the nintendo-made games for every Nintendo system. At least that's the way it's been since the N64. Nintendo systems have been rough for third party developers. Even the Wii with all it's success is hard to get your game noticed. Hannah Montana probably sold better than Madworld.

If you want a good fighter for the Wii, I suggest to pick up Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars. If you are playing online, please be aware of those who button mash, simple-control, or just spamming projectiles. Trust me, there are lot of ragequitters on that game.

The spiritual sequel to this game, Anarchy Reigns, is going to look similar to MadWorld. This time, Anarchy Reigns is going to have a 4-Player Multiplayer and the game looks amazing. It seems like Sega is stepping up.
