@Finobini charlie hunter has an instrument with three bass strings and five guitar strings. he plucks the bass line with his thumb and plays the guitar part with his fingers

This is a trio, and if you listen carefully it sounds like a quartet. Charlie Hunter is one of the most gifted musicians out there. He' playing the guitar and bass line at the same time. Incredible!
