(Just so you know everyone is a guy except for Kate and Miss Simpkins)

Dialouge(spoken by Kate de Vries): Amazing isn't it? But... You don't believe it. You think just like the others. He saw them. He'd been watching them for days. He was sick by then I suppose. But it doesn't matter, everytime I read it, I get that tingly feeling and I've read it a hundred times now.

You've flown for many years haven't you? And how much of the actual sky have you traveresed? Ships have there routes and, as you say, deviate from them only when necessary. That must leave millions and millions of miles of unexplored sky and sea! As if anyone has explored every inch of the planet.

I am holding auditions for the characters from the first three chapters of Airborn by Kenneth Oppel. (It's an amazing book. You should read it sometime.) I may just dub some of my favourite parts of the book also. But for now all I am doing is the first three chapters. Here's the description on the back of the book in case you're interested:

Matt Cruse is the cabin boy of the Aurora, the 900-foot luxary airship he has called home for the past two years. While crossing the Pacificus, Matt fearlessly rescues the unconcious pilot of a crippled hot air balloon. Before he dies, the balloonist tells him about a fantastic, impossible creatures he has seen flying through the clouds. Matt dismises the story as the ravings of a dying man, but when Kate de Vries arrives on the Aurora a year later, determined to prove the story true, Matt finds himself caught up in her quest. Then one night, over the middle if the ocean, deadly air pirates board the Aurora. Far from any hope of rescue, Kate and Matt are flung into adventures beyond all imagining...

This is a thrilling tale filled with a dashing hero, devious pirates, spectacular airships, and fantastic creatures. There is never a dull moment and the characters and dialogue are witty and realistic. Its entertaining, and the scenery is AMAZING! The kind of book that absolutely begs to be made into a summer blockbuster.

Rules

1. Audition video must be at least 1 minute long. I would like to hear various ranges of your voice like, talking normally, yelling at someone, shouting orders etc...

2. State the character that you'll be auditioning for in the description.

3. Make recordings as clear as you can, like no background noise because I can't take it out.

4. Must state in the description wether or not you'd be willing to do other roles.
