Pat Venditte is a Switch Pitcher for the Tampa Yankees. In this video you will see him throw both right and left handed. I am not sure what the debacle was at home plate that was delaying the game, but you will see him throwing warm-up pitches.
The Tampa Yankees, the Single A Minor League team of the New York Yankees, were victorious in an 8-4 game against the Daytona Cubs.

If you step in at the plate from the left side you have to hit from that side, if you step on the rubber pitching left handed, you have to face the batter that way....to my knowledge. This guy is setting some precendents

I think the batter was a switch hitter and they were trying to figure out which side he would bat so the pitcher could decide which hand to throw with.
