  • I think that she won't put herslef in a bubble to make crappy, canned pop music. The folks who are true to their art are the ones you never hear on the radio. It amazes me how anyone would pay to listen to Brittany Spears who doesn't have that great of a voice. I don't like Madonna either.

  • wow you have a great voice girl, thanks for the post

  • Brilliant from a brilliant album, thanks for the great video. Just ace.

  • People who love real music know where to find it, most people are too dumb to realize something real and powerful and can't stand to feel things - they'd rather listen to popcrap. Allison is nothing less than extraordinary. Thanks for posting this video, I had never seen it before.

  • Great video, great, great, great song. Allison Moorer is simply fantastic.

  • Such a fantastic video. I am a fan of Allison. I heard her on the world cafe on public radio and was blown away.

  • @CTC1965 I think that's part of it. But negative lyrics aren't always a deal breaker. Can you think of a happy Eagles song? Fleetwood Mac's Rumours was also pretty negative. A lot of Neil Young too. But those artists all have uplifting beats so if you don't examine the words, you think it's a good time song. You've heard her "Light of a Clear Blue Morning", right? Sad might be more accurate characterization. But I'm a sucker for sad songs, so I think Allison's awesome...

  • @scotsguy422 I let two co-workers of mine a few years ago listen to her stuff. They both said the same thing : she's too negative. Daisy123M states another reason why too. Her and her sister should be top of the pops, me thinks.

  • I simply don't understand why she hasen't had more success. She's covered country, folk, and some of her own very unique material which is fabulous. I have two of her albums - Miss Fortune and The Duel. Listen to "Let Go" and the dark title track "The Duel" both written from the soul.

  • You guys want to know something funny. I have Allison on my facebook and she read one of my comments one night! =-P

  • She sounds alot like her sister - Wow what a Voice - Singing with sooo much feeling!
