@bornagain2day I don't mean to sound critical, but I don't want someone to treat me well because they think they have to live for God. I want them to treat me well because they want to. I don't want to live for God. I live because of God and God is my life. I don't have to DO anything. Because He has done it all. I don't want to be a history maker. I want to tell the gospel and let God do the history. This story is God's. So let Him be the focus and not us. Isn't that good news?

This song isn't right. It glorifies man over God. It nowhere mentions Christ's sacrifice for us. Whenever man has focused on himself it has only ended in destruction. Look at Adam or Saul or Israel. They wanted to be history makers. Instead, let us, as Christians, lose our lives. For Christ takes them from us and gives us eternal life in Himself. That is the message of the Gospel. That Christ died and rose from the grave to save the world from sin. Amen.
