loved it, currently reading alot of books about freemasonry, but at the moment mostly the knight-templar influance. so mutch history in it.

but the masonic templar has to be a christian? isnt freemasonry about free-religion? perhaps they have to be christian because it only serves theire own religiouse purposses ?

You are right, Freemasonry is not a religion and does not advocate participation in any specific religion. The Knight Templars is part of an appendant body of Masonry called the York Rite. To enter into the York Rite, a man must first become a Master Mason. The York right is an extension of Masonry built on Christian Principles. People who are not Christian however may join, although they will be required to take upon themselves Christian Oaths. Hope this helps.
