@EvilDarkMario1995 Momentum canceling is based off of gaining control of your character again as fast as possible. For most every character they have aerials that end before air dodge does but snake and Ike do not. Up air for snake and bair/dair for ike have been considered too but AD is useful to both of them.

Incorrect, Air dodges do momentum cancel and are in fact the best horizontal momentum cancels for ike and snake. Please do more research.
