Christmas Medley in Irish Sign Language by Societies of DIT

A host of DIT Students and Staff try their hands at Irish Sign Language - most for the first time! - to create a medley of Christmas Songs in Irish Sign Language! (Please forgive ISL mistakes you might see if you're an ISL user . . . we're beginners!!!)

This video was made as part of the Annual DIT Societies Christmas Appeal which began on the 30th November and includes a range of student led events all over DIT campuses and across Dublin, raising funds for various organizations. Great work guys, I'm a mature first year student in CDS Trinity and upon watching your video i think maybe next year we should try to unite with as many people as possible and do a flash mob signed christmas song somewhere in the city. But for now just wanna say well done to all who put this together and for keeping the christmas spirit alive in sign.

Brilliant! Thanks for that. I got as far as 'Level One' - then stopped learning (Doh!) so of course i've forgotten most of it (Double Doh!! - i'd love to get back into it).
