OBC Deaf Choir Part 5 - The Value of One

Song: The Value of One

The Oklahoma Baptist College Deaf Choir came to our annual Mission's conference on January 27th & 28th, 2007 - held at Lafayette Bible Baptist Church in Manchester, Missouri ( http://www.lbbc-stl.org ).

The fourth part is an excerpt from a dvd about the college that was shot as it was shown on screen. If you want to see the whole dvd, I would recommend writing, calling or emailing the college. The info on the college is at the end of the 4th part.

I hope you enjoy the video, I certainly enjoyed the choir. I apologize for the shakiness of the video at times, I didn't have a tripod with me.

well i go to whbc it is a very awesome church and they have an awesome college and school ministry and i was a hostess at the 25th youth conference and i love it here!

Our teen dept came to the 25th youth conference, and they came back talking about the sermons that were preached and also the fun. Thank you for serving our teenagers! Ev. Bryan Sharp is a member of our church too.

very beautiful..... i can understand some ASL as i watch the lady who does it at our church and she has taught a beginners class at church.

Yes, it is beautiful and was very exciting. I had quite a time containing my emotions during this song. I love to see people get saved, and I know that the Lord rejoices over the 1 that repents. When we were in OKC several years ago for a teen conference, the whole deaf choir signed with several singers & grand piano. It was glorious. I'd like to get some video of that.

I am newly hard of hearing, learning ASL, and I am sorry to say that this video made very little sense to me. I see a lot of people signing different signs at the same time, and the main words to the song are not visible throughout most of the video. And, there is no transcript of the words either. I had to use my not very good hearing to try to understand, but only got bits and pieces because I am hard of hearing. I can't even lipread anything here. Help??? :-(

I need to try to get the words to the songs that I have from the deaf choir. I can't understand most of the words because I am hard of hearing, and am trying to learn ASL. I was up close to the action, so you don't get an overall view of the signing. Perhaps next time I'll sit a few rows back so I'll get the birds eye view.  Are any of our ASL friends able to interpret for us?

This is such a blessing to see people serving God through youtube. This song is such a blessing, it reminds me of my salvation and it reminds me of what God saved me from. This song makes me cry. I love this song and it is so true. Thank you for serving God with your talents.

I have heard this song alot, my mom works for the company that has this song, (Bible Truth Music) and i have never seen it signed like that before. It was very moving.

This is great!!! I get chills everytime I sing this song at my church. I try to sing it at least two or three times a year.
