  • Got off track how ? Rudd tried twice to get the E T S passed through the senate which was blocked, He couldn't have an early election without the partys support. Rudd suggested the mining tax, which the mining industry could certainly afford given its 10 billion dollar profit and mining wages constanly increasing to attract enough minors and now the government are working on the details of a mining tax to bring in anyay according to what he said in the 7:30 report program.
