  • @kilineen Oh no! That sucks about the camera. At least it's replaceable though. Thanks so much for your compliments. I would advise you to keep up the good work too!

  • @AaronTheHarpist Thanks a million! Camera's broken now, so that's the last of my pictures for a while =[ But I checked out some more of your videos after I posted that last comment and they're incredible! I loved the lady gaga, who knew those songs could actually be melodic?! Well done =]

  • @kilineen Both my mother's harp and mine are set to the key of C by default. From there, it's easy to change to another key when necessary. I checked your videos and I like your playing! Only advice would be to keep up practising as it always builds confidence. Good job to you!

  • @kilineen Yeah there definitely were a few accidentals in there. They are much easier to do on a pedal harp than a lever harp, at least for me. This harp is actually my mother's (who also plays). My own harp is actually a lever harp, so I can play both. For accidentals on the pedal harp, I never change the same note in all octaves, just the one where it is needed.

  • I noticed you played a couple of accidentals there, i'm not sure which song! I'm just learning harp myself, i started a year ago {if you want to look at my page and give any hints to improve my playing that would be much appreciated!} i see that's a concert harp you're playing, i only have a traditional one. Are the strings on that chromatic or set to a scale? I can't do accidentals on my harp without switching a blade. {by the way, that was absolutely amazing! i hope i'm that good some day!}
