Operant Conditioning With Buffy the Tiger

Rest in peace, Buffy.

Here, Big Cat Rescue volunteer Susan, does operant condition with Buffy, the sweetest tiger ever!

Big Cat Rescue does operant conditioning for many reasons. One is so the cats can be examined by the vet without being sedated. Sedation is very dangerous when putting big cats under.

With operant conditioning, if a vet wants to see the animals stomach, all they have to do is say "up". It's very helpful and is also fun for the cats!

Wow what a loss of a gem and beauty.... I thought you guys are %110 percent against befriending or touching the tigers..... that's what I understood in the past from you guys... I've messaged and joined a short while back but I was told that you don't, this is interesting....!!!!!!
