Why is the animation so inferior to the other Robotech titles?

yes, it can be hard to get used to new actors if you grew-up with a different cast

and as said, Macross and Robotech are theoretically two different series that just happen to have the same footage

@ronquila i never saw the SDF Macross but i was thinking if i saw it how different is robotech from Macross. heck robotech even use some of the same episode titles a few times.
