  • the formula for z score is Z=x-u/Sigma .. my question is.. why sometimes is written Z=x-u/Sigma/sqrt of N ?? what's the differences?

P.s: i been watching all of her videos it helps me on my stats class.. shes good at explaining :)

  • @NecroFear22 We use the formula z = (x-u)/(sigma/sqrt(n)) when we are finding the z-score of a sample mean (x-bar). The formula is actually (x-bar - u)/(sigma/sqrt(n)).

We use z=(x-u)/sigma if we are finding the z-value of a particular x-value (observation).

  • nice tits

  • thanks I forgot how to do this! I have a test in the morning and it reminded me!!!

  • its cool. but if the mean is 35 and the value is 30, you already know 30 is a little below the mean! lol, i know, i know, tecnically you dont really know but whatever.

  • great explaining!

  • Can you speak a little bit LOUDER? I love your videos but trying so hard to hear you.

  • DAMMM!!!

  • great body

  • even from 35 and 30, it is clear that it is close to average but also below it. Y to calculate Z Score then?

  • @NecroFear22 Well. When its written as Z=x-u/Sigma/sqrt of N is beacuse it is talking about Average X. Average X is when you want the average result wich has media=u and standard desviation = Sigma/sqrt of N. You are dividing by N because its an average. Average= The X with the line above.

Its well explained on books + I dont speak english so is hard say it.
