that avg was low because i was driving very fast and overtaking cars but in a normal roadtrip my normal avg was like 13 .3 avg i think it helps alot the 6 speed gearbox  i ... i sell this suv now i have a acura rdx turbo and it burns gas like hell because it has a 5speed gearbox but its really fast wait for videos i also have a b13 sentra se-r ( tsuru gsr here in mexico ) and a 3.0 ranger

I still have the window sticker from my 2010 Outlander. It's 11.2lL/100km city, 8.2L/100km highway, and premium fuel is not required. 87 octane is normal and what the dealer recommends. Have you actually gone SUV shopping before? How is 8.1 awful for a V6 SUV? Show me something that blows that away. Not saying the Outlander is a gas miser, because it isn't. But it's certainly not "awful", especially from a vehicle of that size, weight, and displacement.

Just checked EPA website again...

avg is 11.8 L / 100 km which is less than 8.5 km/L.

The 2010 model improved *slightly*, but they now also recommend premium fuel, which *really* *really* sucks *big* time. Fuel suddenly becomes close to 10% more expensive, and the fuel economy did not get 10% better.

So in essence, the Outlander just became more expensive to drive.

How uberly overlordishly stupid can a company get, you'd swear it'd be a GM doing something lame foolish like this...
