I don't think neither of them are bad singers, just different. May'n has an ideal voice for strong songs, like this one for example, and Megumi has a sweet and tender voice, ideal for ballads or happy tunes, such as Seikan and Aimo. May'n singing Aimo doesn't fit at all, and I don't think Megumi singing this would sound well either. If you take What bout my star, Sheryl ver. has that idol style, while Ranka ver. is sweet. It's not only about strenght but also emotions. I just love them both!

@PogiChoie I agree with that. I really think Megumi's voice is adorable (i love Neko Nikki), but it's nothing compared to May'n voice... She can sing slow and sad songs (diamond crevasse, tenshi ni nachatta), but also songs like this (and like Eien ni)... She just has an amazing voice.

@whitepearlmermaid That's because she can't... Ranka's vocal abilities can't handle this song. May'n's ability is what makes this song amazing, and I'm sorry, but Megumi Nakajima's vocal talent can't compare (there's a reason why Ranka doesn't have a lot of songs with variation while Sheryl ends up singing most of the songs in the series...)
