Alien creatures have landed on Earth - they are the Greeps. Greeps like tomatoes. By some increadible stroke of luck, they have landed in an area where piles of tomatoes are found randomly spread out over the otherwise barren land. Help your Greeps collect as many tomatoes as possible.
You should edit only the Greeps class. You cannot change any of the other classes. Program some intelligence into the little critters, and make them carry the tomatoes to their space ship quicker than ever before.

You will see that Greep is a subclass of Creature and of Actor. You can make use of any of the inherited methods.
Greeps can only communicate by spitting drops of paint (in three colors!) onto the ground. These paint drops can serve as markers to convey messages
to other Greeps. Greeps do not communicate directly!
Greeps cannot load tomatoes on their own -- a Greep can only load a tomato onto another Greep.
Greeps have some limited memory: one byte and two Boolean flags. You can make use of this for whatever you like, but you cannot extend it.
Also, the only part of the World Greeps can see is their own immediate location. (Greenfoot in general provides methods to see further around you,
but for the purpose of this competition, use of those methods is not allowed).

  • can you send me the source code for your greeps? i can get up to around 260 without the follow paint command. i just need that follow paint command to work now.

    ive been trying to figure it out forever.. please post code on the paint!

    They are spitting paint on their way back, if they have reached the tomato pile on the direct way (without bouncing).

    So there is a direct line between the ship and the tomato pile.

    If any greep recognizes the paint, they have to turn to the ship (it's in class creature, i think) and then turn 180° so they are guided to the tomato pile
