On May 23, 2010 a party was held for our friends Dante and Karen
Marcolina at the Mermaid Inn in Chesnutt Hill, Philadelphia, PA. Thanks
to Joann and Jack and all the staff of the Mermaid Inn and all the
friends and family who came out. The wonderful musicians/bands that volunteered
their services included Bob Holden on drums, Rick Hagman on bass, Noah Gerschwin on guitar, Roger Girke on guitar, CC Crabtree on sax, frattoir and PA, the PLANETS with Joel, Larry and Charlie, Dukes of Destiny with John Colgan Davis on harmonica and vocals, Randy Lippincott on guitar, Philly Gumbo band with Pete Eschelman and a grand finale jam.
I know I left some names out but thanks to all of you who played, danced and helped out. A special thanks to CC who provided the PA system, played his butt off on sax. I could not have done without all of your help. And a big thanks to all who attended. It was a real love fest in support of Dante and Karen who had been going through some tough times. Was nice to see some of old Pa State buddies.
