The Laff Stop was a comedy club, located in Houston, Texas. It was one of the most successful clubs through the 1990s, and is considered as the heart of the Texas stand-up comedy scene. The club closed after Dec. 19, 2009 performances were completed in a surprise announcement.

The Laff Stop changed locations a few times durings its existence, the last stop becoming an upstairs strip mall location at Waugh and the Allen Parkway. The previous location on West Gray Street is now a Sherlock's pub while the original Laff Stop location—famous for being the launching pad of Bill Hicks, Sam Kinison, and others—is now a dry cleaner at San Felipe and Shepherd.

@MattDugas2011 - You ain't kiddin'... his 'Hunt And Kill Billy Ray Cyrus' idea could evolve into a mini-set within even darker material - Although, it kinda seems like Bill has effectively banished her back to the mall from his own grave, really... (seriously, has she been anywhere lately but showing up in the funny farces at the grocery check-out??) - "What's a-matter Miley???
