i fish CT river caught some shad.. 19 to be exact.. i didnt use shad darts or anything like that.. i used plain ol' nightcrawler.. a size 8 pre-snelled hook..and i just kept bringing them in..haha..good catch...

a beast huh?! i use them that size for striper bait in in the Delaware where i'm from. we catch the bucks at a 3 lb average and the roes at a 5.75 lb average.
