I have one of these, but it's the K200A model w/Bigsby & DeArmond humbuckers instead of the single coils that this model has. It's a great guitar, very light, and even though it looks 'Rickenbacker-esque', it doesn't sound like one, but rather like a Gretsch fitted w/a Filtertron (ala Stills early CSN). Terrific ax ...

sounds good and it looks cool..I want one!

@FungusLabel it may cut heads, but does it get you a lot of pussy like the rickenbacker would?
-
gotta love the confusing triple dot

Yeah kustom ftw, i am running 72 coupe hardtop with matching cab and with maxon od808 it cuts heads!!!

If you look closely at the guitar, Kustom also used a "Zero Fret" just below the nut. Zero frets were found on Kustoms, Mosrites and a few German guitars. Paul McCartney's Hofner 500/1 bass came with a zero fret on it (all Hofners still do) and Paul had a zero fret installed on his Rickenbacker 4001.
