Lalo Concerto performed by 2nd Prize winner (+Audience Award!) of Cassado Cello Competition in Japan, Maya Bogdanovic, Tokyo Philharmonic www.majabogdanovic.com
besides...it's a solo, and a concerto, so it's musically correct to kind of "make it your own". otherwise it's going to sound too mechanical and just bad.
That's weird: the violas and cellos are switched in the orchestra.

It was written by Edouard Lalo, who was writing at the same time as Dvorak and Elgar =)

good... I imagine it would be hard to play in the orchestra though :D:D
now I really want to play this piece...

bosneageorge, lalo wrote "ad libitum" into the score. this means that you can play the music as rythmic as you want to.
