  • There are zero spinners in my area...I have been trying to find someone willing to teach me without luck, but this video is where I have been having the most trouble...The one thing I have never seen on a video is that tiny piece of, seemingly insignificant, advice; to leave your tension loose until your roving has thoroughly gripped the leader...Thank you for this video. All others stressed adjusting your tension to the way you like it, but this bit out...

    Thanks again

  • @Jaxence I'm so glad it was helpful! This is the thing that still slips me up, so I wanted to make sure to put it in there!

  • When you first started did you pedal slow? When I start I have a hard time with it going backwards and forwards, I guess it takes time eh?

  • i love your yarn the colours are divine!!!!!!

  • Yes, THANK YOU! I bought my Ashford Kiwi yesterday from a friend who told me to go to my local spinning club and have someone there teach me how to use it. Being very shy and impatient, I wanted to get a start on it right away. Your video showed me exactly what I was doing wrong!

  • Thank you, very helpful!

  • This is the most helpful information that we have received, having looked at several You Tube downloads already. We are real beginners and now know how to start spinning! Thanks so much. What a cheerful and friendly person, and very clear information. Excellent!

  • Thanks :)

  • How do you change the bobbin, since the whorl is not at the orifice end?

  • THank you! That really helped me out . you r awesome!
