Nick(taps on Miley's shoulder): Uh, hey.
Miley: Oh, hi...Nick.
Nick: Do you want to get something to eat?
Miley: Well...I have a boyfriend. Justin.
Nick: Oh. Well...that's okay.
Karla: Nick?
Nick: Hey...Karla.
Karla: Are you okay? I'm sorry I was so harsh at home.
Nick(smiles): It's okay.
Miley: Well I have to go.
Nick: Bye.
Karla: Nick...you shouldn't be trying to pick up girls at your dad's funeral.
Nick: I'm not. I need a friend.
Karla: Well...okay.
*They go to Lust(a restaurant)*
Nick(stares at the window): Gosh.
Karla: Nick. I really want to be with you.
*PS: Nick and Karla are both 23. i know, right? but i had to :P*
Nick(stunned): Well...okay.
Karla: Can I move back in?
Nick(smiles shyly): Did you ever move out?
Karla(holds his hands): I'm just happy we're together again.
Nick: Me, too.
*They finish their dinner and go home.*
*At the jewelers.*
Nick(points at a ring): How much?
Cashier: $50,000.
Nick: Well...Dad had a lot of money left...and my stocks are up. Can you hold that one?
Cashier: Sure.
Nick: Great.
Justin(walks in): Oh, hey, Nick.
Nick: Justin?
Justin: You're proposing? Me, too. Miley will be so shocked.
Nick(stutters): Y-yyeah.
Justin: Hope Karla says yes.(he punches his shoulder.)
Nick(laughs): Yeah.
Justin: Well, I've got to pick it up. (to the cashier) Gaston?
Cashier: In the back. I'll get it now.(she smiles)
Nick: Well...I still need to size it and everything, but I will tell Miley, and she'll tell you, right?
Justin: Yeah.
Nick: Don't tell Miley, though.
Justin: No worries, little man.
*HE picks up the box and leaves.*
Nick(sighs): Gosh. I've got to get over Miley.
*He gives the cashier his pad and leaves.*
*At home.*
Karla: Oh, yeah. Right there. Mmmmhhh.
Nick: What the---
