Frame 2 - Highly entertaining and exciting frame of snooker - in which Robertson looked in control - until he lost his discipline and tried a low percentage shot on the blue - missed - and the Spaceman cleared up to pinch the frame.

This was a great match one of the best best of nines i've seen. But I was gutted for Robertson and the Australian fans plus wanted to see a Robertsopn vs Williams match, but every credit to Dale who played a tremendous game and deserved to win.

neil didn't play to decisively win the last frame. his positional shot from brown to blue was iffy because there was no way he could get on the pink by potting the blue to the green pocket. he thought he was over the line by potting the blue, and that proved his undoing. if he had taken the blue to the middle pocket, the outcome may have been different.

2 matches last year - williams vs higgins (UK - black to yellow), ding vs fu (masters - blue to pink) show you can't do that.

Yeah know what u mean they were just trying to get the points so their opponents needed snookers but potting the balls mentioned for position made the pots missable. It's all in the moment and how the player feels, but at least Robertson can't complain that he didn't have a chance to win cos he did...and at this level thats all u can ask for.
