@shawsy2020 , I'm going back soon! I'm probably going next weekend, but for sure the week of may 17, for my honeymoon with my new wife!

Do you cruise, or ride like a total idiot? I ride like a total idiot most of the time, so my 4 stroke wasn't much help over a 2 stroke. I think for all around agility, a ktm 200xcw exc or something would be ideal for light weight and maneuverability. Even a KDX 200 would be pretty smooth. Remember, you want to ride all day, so smooth power is more important than MORE power.....

Both bikes are nice but which is faster?

Its hard to believe, but on a pavement drag race my WR is a little faster than this 500 2 stroke. Stock for stock I would be eaten alive by such a monster. My WR has an Akrapovic EVO full Ti system, heavily ported head, 14:1 piston, and HotCams intake and exhaust camshafts. The fact is, most 2 strokes cant rev like a modern 4 stroke. I would estimate that CR500 to peak its power @ 5000 to 8000 rpm. My Yamaha 450 peaks power smoothly between 7500-13,500 and revs well beyond 14,000 rpm.
