look up and live...simple

I would have to say they, not the driver put the dumpster in the wrong spot.
-
That's a garbage truck.

We had a delivery truck reverse into the side of a data centre I worked at, knocked over a wall then tried to escape reversing back the way he came from because there was no way to turn around where he was. Turned out it was his first day on the job. D'oh!

If he would have just stopped what he was doing at 0:20 this probably would not have been near as bad. They could have just re-strung the line. He probably was a greenhorn and panicked.

what a douche bag. I been driving FL for 7 years. The headcheck should be done at every stop no matter how many times you have serviced that stop.
-
So he just left and didn't report it? What an arse... I hope you reported him, if that was the case!
-
Exactly what I was thinking..
3. Due to the shape of our parking area. (this is a downtown building) There is no other place to put the dumpster. So, blame the power company for running our power across our parking lot!
4. Can't we depend on people to do their own jobs reliably and safely? This guy dropped the power line, and didn't even call the power company ! Thats 480 Volts ! WTF

Wow he didn't call anyone??? I know mistakes happen, but wow, I would have called a bunch of people, I wouldn't want someone else to get killed by a downed line.... I wouldn't have left until I knew someone was able to watch over the area to keep people away from a dangerous downed line.

Luckily there was no way for anyone to get harmed by this line, it tripped the breakers on the main pole.. but still, would've been nice to know...

1. It was illuminated. Unfortunately the light would be directed at the person in the truck from the position of the tieback to the building.
2. No signs. Not yet. It was brought up today though.
