This video was produced to make the public aware of a rare disease called malignant histiocytosis. Nathan Cosby, who this picture story is about, started having problems with his spine on March the 10th, 2006. It was on April the 20th before a proper diagnosis was made because so few in the medical field are familiar with it. It has often been misdiagnosed in the past and the number of cases is increasing due to its proper diagnosis.

My heart is so heavy & I pray for the family. My son Devan Levi died of HLH in June of 2008. We found out about HLH only 5 days before he died. I think of him everyday as I know you all do for Nathan. Take care; Liz

I was watching a road trip video of a guy going thru my home town of Barnsdall. Thats when I came across Nathan's video and its heart breaking to learn that he did not survive this disease. I can only hope that Gods love has helped ease the pain of the Cosby family. I have family that still live in Barnsdall and I can only hope they got to meet this fine young man.
